Terms and conditions


  1. Deposits are non-refundable.
  2. Payments for the Beginners Introductory Weekend or the Post Graduate Workshops are non-refundable.
  3. Balance payments are due 14 days before the start date of your course.
  4. If booking within 14 days of the course start date, full payment will be required and is non-refundable or transferable.
  5. Cancellation of courses will only be refundable (balance paid less deposit) if 14 days written notice is received.
  6. Transfers between courses at the request of a student will incur an administration fee of £10.00. Transfers are only available if 14 days written notice is received. Payments will be held for six months from the date of the transfer request. After this date the payment is forfeit.
  7. Introductory Weekend – In the event of a student’s failure to attend this course, for whatever reason, no transfer will be offered.
  8. Follow Up Weekends:- Once a student has committed to this course the student must attend both dates. Failure to attend the final weekend and then request a later date will incur a further charge of £100.
  9. Anatomy & Physiology Course:-
    1. If a student fails to attend the scheduled exam night a fee of £30 is payable to sit the exam at a later date.
    2. If a student fails either the Anatomy or Physiology exam it is possible to re-sit the exam on two further occasions (£30 per re-sit) before the student will be required to re-take the course at a 50% reduced cost.
  10. If a payment plan has been agreed between the LCM and a student and the student fails to complete the course any outstanding course fees will still be payable.
  11. Students must commit themselves to attend all classes and in the case of unavoidable circumstances, make arrangements for private tuition.
  12. Non-attendance is very disruptive to fellow students as each group works in pair’s, therefore the College reserves the right to expel without refund any student missing two or more classes.
  13. In the circumstances of a student failing to complete a course no refund will be made.
  14. In the circumstances of the LCM requesting a student to leave a course other than (12.) the LCM will refund the students remaining balance.
  15. In the case of returned cheques, replacements will only be accepted in cash, bankers order or credit/debit card including any additional charges.
  16. LCM reserves the right to cancel courses due to under subscription and to offer places for a later date.
  17. LCM reserves the right to change tutor or venue if necessary.
  18. If you are pregnant, please do not enrol on a practical course until after the birth of your baby.
  19. Please inform the LCM of any physical or mental ailment, past or present that you think might affect your study.
  20. Fees cover registration, all course tuition, examination fees and manuals where appropriate, provision of base carrier oils and the use of massage tables.
  21. Replacement certificates are available at a cost of £5 each.
